UKBA Bonsai Workshop
with Peter Warren.

The last time the UK Bonsai Association organised a workshop was pre-covid back on the 18Jan20 with Harry Harrington a general workshop, this workshop was of a more precise nature, the art of exhibiting trees correctly for participation in the
Expo Bonsai UK and other major UK shows. The teacher of the day was Peter Warren one of the most qualified bonsai artists in the UK having served an apprenticeship in Japan over many years working and learning at the Shunkaen Bonsai Museum under the supervision of bonsai Master Kobayashi Kunio. Peter gave a talk, slide show and Q&A presentation through the morning on all aspects of displaying and then in afternoon a practical working session where participants built their own displays, which were then critiqued by Peter. Comments after the workshop were all positive, with most people coming away from the event with the ability to improve their future displaying techniques.
