The Doncaster Bonsai Experience which is held twice a year in March and September, incorporates a Spring Bonsai Exhibition Show with the March event and The National Shohin Exhibition with the September event. Organised by Daryl Harris, John Skill and Dave Newman, this years September event was as usual well attended with bonsai enthusiasts travelling from afar, whether you were looking for pots and soils ready for the re-potting or just trying to sell some of your unwanted bonsai items, this was the place to be.
Complimenting the show and sales area was a demonstration & talk by Rob Atkinson of Akamatsu School Of Bonsai.

The Shohin Show incorporated approximately 20 displays, with this years judge being Rob Atkinson, the awards were as follows:
