Sutton Bonsai Show

The second show post covid staged by Sutton Bonsai Society at the new re-furnished Wisley Gardens. This must now rate as one of the best locations for a bonsai show anywhere in the UK, a state of the art building with a dedicated hall for the bonsai show, with perfect lighting and a very large digital screen at one end of the hall . RHS Wisley is busy most of the year, but during the Spring period when the gardens are bursting into life and looking their best one can only guess at the visitor numbers, consequently the bonsai show was very busy most of the weekend. As usual Sutton Bonsai Society displayed their trees to a very high standard, accompanied with a generous display of top class Suiseki, something not often seen at many other shows in the UK.
All in all, a great weekend event, promoting the art form of bonsai to the greater general public.
