Japan Embassy
101-104 Piccadilly, London. W1J 7JT.
To celebrate the 64th birthday of his majesty the Emperor Naruhito of Japan the UK Bonsai Association was approached and asked if we could put on a small display of bonsai at the Japan Embassy over two nights. Myself and Russell Wheeler kindly offered to represent the UK Bonsai Association, providing trees and manning the display on both nights. The event was hosted by the Japanese Ambassador and attended by dignitaries and members of the Japanese business community.
The bonsai display was part of the Japanese cultural section together with a demonstration of the Japanese tea ceremony.
