We would like to congratulate Harry Harrington for the very successful interview he gave in June which was later featured on the BBC's special Gardeners World 2021 Episode 28 21:58 on trees broadcasted on Friday the 8Oct21 . The main presenter of the programme Monty Don who has taken issue with bonsai in the past made a very carefully worded statement in the segment immediately after the film that was very complimentary.
The interview and film shot in Aylesbury at Harrys garden location highlighted many of his bonsai trees and the general philosophy behind bonsai. Its not often many of us bonsai enthusiasts see anything on general TV publicising or promoting the art of bonsai, even to the point that many people still refer back the eighties when the series of films 'Karate Kid' featured bonsai. The piece of film highlighting Harry and bonsai can be seen on BBC IPlayer, Gardeners World Episode 28 of the 2021 series, approximately 20 minutes into the episode, take a look if you have not yet. Harry confirms following the film being aired he has been contacted by a number of people in the gardening business and media, all showing interest in what he is doing.
